About Us
The yard is owned by Roland and Veronica, who live on site adjacent to the yard so there is 24 hour care in place 365 days a year. We have full CCTV throughout the yard and the opportunity for customers to have an optional pony cam of their horse’s stable.
Veronica manages the yard, ably assisted by her dedicated team of staff. Mel works full time, and works closely alongside Veronica to ensure the smooth running of the yard. We then have several part time staff, who we have all trained ourselves, and are a very important part of Los Prados. Veronica also runs the business side of the yard, and ensures the customer liaison is taken good care of.
ABOUT US
VERONICA
Veronica comes from a lifetime of involvement with horses, having owned and cared for her own horses, and brought her children up in a pony rich environment, with a pony club and BHS background competing in one day eventing and dressage. She has worked on yards in the UK… Veronica also teaches equine first aid, and can train clients for BHS exams, and can teach riding, in particular, dressage trouble shooting. She and Mel work very closely, and the result is a very coordinated and bespoke service tailored to each client’s needs
ROLAND
Roland has ridden from an early age involved in pony club and BHS, competing in cross country, show jumping and team chasing to a national level. He has taught riding very successfully for a number of years, and specialises in jumping. He has his own building business in Spain and has created many equine installations using his experience He purpose built the yard and ménages, and is as involved with the yard as much as time allows. He is always on hand very quickly when repairs need to be made which is huge benefit to ensure the smooth running and safety of the yard.
